Some (long) time ago, I read that riding a motorcycle with a mechanical watch on the wrist should be avoided due to the continuos vibrations of the bike. These days, watches are a bit sturdier and bikes are a bit softer. How actual do you think this advic...  

I think it is a non issue.

I have worn all my watches many miles on my Yamaha FZ1. A liter bike that is some what buzzy at freeway speed. Not BMW smooth in other words. Including my Deep Stream. No issues. ...

As a watchmaker and mountain biker/motorcycle rider there are no issues to worry about, your wrist dampens most of the vibration. The only watches I've damaged from riding involved crashing. Cheers, Wilkie

love the diavel. i have to say no problems with my jlc extreme world chrono and harley wide glide. did a 2500 mile trip in april with no problems.....
